Terms & Conditions

All players MUST check the tick box on the registration form to say that they have read, understood and accept the contents of these terms to play Airsoft at Skirmish Billericay.
 

1.  The entry fee covers a full (9.00am – 3.30pm) or part day of participation in the Airsoft event.  No refund will be given if a participant is asked to leave due to any infraction of the rules of the game, or if the management deem them to be a danger to themselves or others.  There are no refunds given for simply wanting to leave early.

1. Players must understand that the game is physically and mentally intense and may require exertion.

2. The games may be hazardous, especially if not played in accordance with the stated rules which must be read and understood.  Pyrotechnics can only be used if a player is over 18 and are used at their own risk.

3. Players under 18 MUST wear suitable full face protection, A one piece or two piece is acceptable, but it must cover the eyes and mouth.  We strongly advise anyone over 18 to wear full face protection and this will be worn as instructed by marshals and not removed at any time during the games or the testing range. Skirmish Billericay will not accept responsibility for any injury to the face where goggles or glasses only are worn. (if you are unsure on your face protections quality, please seek guidance from the head marshal).

4. Players should wear footwear with adequate ankle support. Shoes, thin soled footwear and trainers are not suitable.

5. Players will not climb any trees or structures on the grounds of Skirmish Billericay.

6. Players will always treat everyone on site from players to employees of Skirmish Billericay with respect and courtesy. Staff must be made aware if a problem arises.  Any form of verbal or physical abuse will not be tolerated.  Players will be asked to leave the premises if they abuse another player or member of staff with no refund of any fees given.

7.  Cheating or gamesmanship will not be tolerated.  Players may be asked to sit out of a game or in repeated cases, asked to leave the venue at the discretion of the event manager with no refund offered.

8. Players must inform the head Marshal of any Medication prescribed or Medical Ailments that may affect their participation.

9.  The consumption of alcohol or recreational drugs will not be tolerated while participating in the event or anywhere on the premises.

10.  All players MUST listen to the safety brief given by the head marshal before the games commence every time they attend an event at Skirmish Billericay.

9.  In the event of a dispute, the English language version of these terms and conditions will rule in law.  If a player has difficulty understanding English, they must inform a manager who will make efforts to translate using a service such as Google translate but that version will not rule over the English version in law.

 

Players agree that:

A. They are fully aware of the risks to themselves, and others involved in playing at Skirmish Billericay and accept the hazards of playing at the venue.

B. They are reasonably fit and mentally able to take the strain and exertion involved in playing the games. Players must not be Pregnant, recovering from surgery or on urgent life saving medication.

C. Players must comply with Skirmish Billericay’s rules and verbal instructions. They must use the equipment as instructed so as not to injure or hurt themselves and others and will obey all directions of the marshals.

D. Players must wear eye protection (that can withstand close range impact from a 6mm pellet always fired at 500 fps) in the Game combat zone. They must not remove such protection whilst in a Game zone or testing range and may only remove the protection once fully in the safe zone.

E. All items brought on to the grounds of Skirmish Billericay are at players and spectators’ own risk.  (such as airsoft equipment and cars).

F.  Players must not have magazines fitted to their guns while in the safe zone, car park or anywhere other that the game zone and testing range.  Guns must have the magazine removed and the breech cleared before entering the safe zone.  Dry firing (firing the gun without a magazine fitted) is also not permitted in the safe zone or car park.

Your statutory rights are not affected.
